Swansea City faced a tough night at The Den, losing 2-1 to Millwall in a dramatic finish. Despite a stellar performance by goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux, who kept the Swans in the game with amazing saves, it was heartbreak as Caleb Taylor scored a stoppage-time winner for the Lions.

Millwall took an early lead with Mihailo Ivanovic’s goal, but Swansea’s Ben Cabango brought hope by equalising shortly after the break. Cabango was exceptional in defence, winning more aerial duels than anyone else on the pitch. But just when a draw seemed likely, Taylor’s late header shattered Swansea’s dreams.
Ethan Galbraith had a mixed outing, contributing to the goal but not hitting his usual highs. Cameron Burgess stood firm in defence with crucial clearances, while Ishe Samuels-Smith showed great defensive grit.

Goncalo Franco was lively in midfield, grabbing an assist and being central to Swansea’s best moments. However, Jay Fulton had a rollercoaster performance, coming close to both scoring and defending goals. Ronald, Malick Yalcouye, and Eom Jisung all showed promise but struggled to break through Millwall’s defence.
Zan Vipotnik found it tough to make an impact, while the substitutes couldn’t swing the momentum back Swansea’s way, with Melker Widell and Josh Tymon having quieter outings than usual. Despite their efforts, Swansea left London feeling dejected but determined to bounce back stronger in their next clash. ✨⚽️ #SwanseaCity #FootballDrama #MatchDayHeartbreak
