🎯 Exciting news for darts fans! 🎯
Welsh stars Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton have secured their spots in the 2026 Darts Premier League! Both were chosen as wildcard picks alongside Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock, promising thrilling action ahead.
Price and Clayton, who reached the World Cup of Darts final before falling to Northern Ireland, will be joining top players like World Champion Luke Littler and last year’s winner Luke Humphries. Clayton has had an impressive year, climbing to World No.5 after making it to the quarter-finals of the World Darts Championship and finishing second in the Masters. Despite a stumble in the World Darts Championship, Price has had high points, including a victorious run at the Poland Darts Masters.
With a whopping £350,000 prize for the Premier League winner and £10,000 per game-week win, the stakes are high! The League includes 16 weeks of gripping matches before the top four battle it out in the finals.
Some big names didn’t make the cut, sparking the usual chatter. Ryan Searle, Danny Noppert, and Nathan Aspinall were among those left out, adding a bit of controversy to the lineup.
Darts fans, buckle up for a rollercoaster of a season! 🎯🏆
