🐉 Exciting times ahead for Welsh rugby fans! With the Six Nations just around the corner, Wales is in the midst of evaluating coaching options, and names are expected to be announced soon! 🙌
The last few months have been a whirlwind, with big changes in the coaching line-up and a mix of both seasoned and fresh talent joining the ranks. Fans will remember that autumn’s shocking 73-0 loss to South Africa, but we’re ready to bounce back and prove our mettle.
🚨 New Head Coach Steve Tandy is gearing up for his inaugural Six Nations at the helm. Along with Tandy, Matt Sherratt and Danny Wilson are in for the long haul, but we’re still awaiting a few key appointments to complete the coaching squad.
🔥 In the autumn, we saw Rhys Patchell lending his kicking expertise, Dan Lydiate assisting with defence, and Duncan Jones managing the scrum on a short-term basis. Will they be back? Only time will tell! Patchell has already earned respect as a potential future coaching star, despite being in the early stages of his coaching journey.
The year 2025 was a rollercoaster for Wales, with a parade of coaching changes marked by Warren Gatland’s departure halfway through the Six Nations and a shake-up throughout the assistant line-up. We saw a mix of trusted figures like Neil Jenkins sticking around and promising talents like Adam Jones and Gethin Jenkins stepping up.
🔄 Could we see the return of another powerhouse like Gethin Jenkins or even the iconic Leigh Halfpenny balancing coaching with his playing role for Cardiff? Speculations are rife, but reliable options remain scarce.
As we close in on finalising the coaching team, there’s much anticipation and hope for a rejuvenated Welsh side ready to take on the best in Europe in 32 days! Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as the squad and coaching announcements are just around the corner. 🏉🇨🇾 #WalesRugby #SixNations #InTandyWeTrust
