Heartbreaking Tragedy at Withernsea Beach 💔
In a devastating start to 2026, what should have been a memorable family day at the beach turned tragic in East Yorkshire. A mother, Sarah Keeling, 45, and her daughter, Grace, 15, were swept out to sea by a massive wave. Sarah’s protective instincts kicked in, and she bravely jumped in after Grace, while her son watched in terror from the shore with their family dog.
Courageous bystanders, including 68-year-old Richard Shaw, rushed to help. Richard, hearing the desperate cries, grabbed a lifebelt and tried to save Grace, but the relentless waves overpowered him.
