🌨️⛄ Snow Day Alert! 🌨️⛄
It’s an extended break for students in parts of Wales as schools remain closed today, January 7th, due to relentless snowfall and ice. 🌧️ The wintry blast has hit hard, keeping many schools shut for the third day running right after the Christmas holidays.
The Met Office is keeping us on our toes with yellow weather warnings for ice and more snow on the way! 🥶❄️ Be prepared, as Storm Goretti is heading our way from France, bringing the promise of even more snowfall and freezing conditions.
Here’s a quick update on school closures:
🔸 **Pembrokeshire**: Fenton Community Primary, Puncheston Community Primary, and Ysgol Bro Gwaun.
🔸 **Gwynedd**: Ysgol Bro Idris is closed for Years 7, 8, and 9.
🔸 **Carmarthenshire**: Queen Elizabeth High is a no-go except for those taking exams.
Stay warm and safe, everyone! As the situation evolves, keep an eye out for further announcements regarding any new closures. 🏫🚫
