Around 7:35pm, the scene was a hive of activity with Scottish Power engineers and Dyfed-Powys Police ensuring everyone’s safety while figuring out what happened. 🚓🚧
Police took charge of traffic management, keeping everything under control as curious onlookers waited for updates. By just before 10pm, the situation was under control and the brave firefighters wrapped up their job. 👏
SP Energy Networks assured us that power supplies weren’t disrupted, apart from a brief pause to sort things out. They promised teams are on it, working hard to fix the faulty cable, and apologised for any inconvenience.
Some locals took to social media describing how “terrified” they felt by the loud noise. Luckily, nobody was hurt, and the roads are mostly open again—just watch for some pavement closures while repairs continue.
