🎆 New Year’s Eve Drama in Swansea 🎆

In a shocking start to 2025, a night out in Swansea ended in chaos when Craig Cole, 27, attacked a stranger with a vodka bottle for simply talking to his ex-girlfriend. It all kicked off in the Plan B club, where a quick chat on the stairs led to a violent confrontation. Cole, blinded by jealousy, lashed out with a bottle, leaving the victim with four head wounds.

A brave security member tried to step in, but Cole was relentless, even striking the victim again as he attempted to walk away. The shocking attack left party-goers in dismay, as the victim could barely recall the incident, only remembering the bottle heading towards him.
After a week, Cole turned himself in to the police but stayed tight-lipped during questioning. In court, he pleaded guilty to wounding with intent. It’s not his first run-in with the law either; previous offences involved similar situations with another ex.
His defence argued it was “10 seconds of madness,” fuelled by jealousy, alcohol, and feeling disrespected. But the judge wasn’t having it, stressing the need for Cole to grow up and recognise that women aren’t his property. With a guilty plea, Cole’s sentenced to 30 months behind bars with half served on licence.
Let’s hope 2025 brings less drama and more peace for all involved. What are your thoughts on this intense NYE story? 🤔💬 #Swansea #CrimeNews #NYEDrama
