π Heartbreaking news strikes as former Chelsea youth player, Lamisha Musonda, has revealed he only has days left to live. At just 33 years old, Lamisha shared an emotional statement on social media, expressing his gratitude for the incredible memories and the people who supported him throughout his journey.

After joining Chelsea from Anderlecht in 2012, alongside his brothers Tika and Charly, Musonda spent two years in the academy before playing in Belgium and Spain, and even for Congolese giants Mazembe. With nine caps for Belgium’s U21 team, he retired in 2020.
Now, he faces a critical health battle and is fighting with all his strength. He expressed: “Life is hard, but the view is great… I’m now fighting to survive. Your aid and prayers will be a great help.”

Despite the overwhelming support from fans and friends, Lamisha humbly wishes to be remembered not for seeking praise, but for the positive impact he had on those he met. He cherishes the beautiful early life he had and the lessons football provided.
Lamisha’s courage and gratitude in the face of such adversity remind us all to cherish every moment. Stay strong, Lamisha. π
His brother Charly and Tika are also former players, with Charly having retired recently, and Tika now working as a scout for Liverpool. Letβs keep Lamisha and his family in our thoughts during this difficult time.
