🌨️ Snow Day Alert! ❄️ Wales is experiencing significant road closures this Saturday, January 10th, due to heavy snowfall from Storm Goretti. If you’ve got travel plans, you might want to reconsider or reroute! Here’s a snapshot of the situation:

🚧 A542 Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen remains shut since January 4th, creating a no-go zone between Corwen and Wrexham.

🚗 A4061 Rhigos Mountain Road is barely passable between the A4107 and Brookland Terrace. Tread carefully!
⛔️ In Blaenau Gwent, the B4560 in Garnlydan is closed from Queensway to Llangynidr, causing quite the detour.
🌨️ Watch out in Ceredigion! The B4338 in Talgarreg is impassable around the Cefn Hafod pub.
⚠️ A5 Grisiau-Cochion in Gwynedd is touch-and-go from Braichmelyn to Llanberis.
🚫 In Swansea, Rhyddwen Road is completely shut down between Rhyddwen Place and Clydach Road.
🌲 And if you’re headed towards Newtown, be aware of a fallen tree that’s rerouted traffic on the A483 Bypass.
🛑 Wrexham is also seeing heavier-than-usual traffic after a crash on Croesnewydd Road near Rhyd Broughton Lane.
Remember, these conditions stem from ongoing snowfall and a Met Office yellow warning remains in effect until midday. Stay safe out there, plan your route carefully, and consider delaying non-essential travel until conditions improve! Keep warm, keep safe, and keep updated with the latest travel news. ⛄️🚗
