The second raid, in June 2024, found more cannabis, cash, and additional tablets, but Louis was out and about. Not to be deterred, the police tracked him down at work, making sure he soon found himself in cuffs.

His mobile phones revealed Louis was deep in the drug trade, involved in supplying crack and cocaine. Messages showed he had a whole operation going, with tick lists and drug runners at his beck and call. Telegram chats with suppliers showed he’d receive his illicit goods through the post, using addresses linked to his partner and father.

Despite these serious activities, Louis Moates had no prior convictions. His lawyer revealed that his life hadn’t been smooth, touching on his struggles with homelessness as a catalyst for his criminal choices.

Facing the music now, Louis has been sentenced to 187 weeks behind bars. A stark reminder that crime doesn’t pay, and the long arm of the law eventually catches up! 💼👮‍♂️🔒
