Meet Jaydon, a resilient young man from Cardiff whose life took a dramatic turn at the tender age of 12. Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, Jaydon faced debilitating symptoms like relentless diarrhoea, painful bone aches, and extreme fatigue. This incurable bowel condition saw him spending over a year in hospital, sidelining him from school and his beloved sports like rugby and football.

Despite these challenges, Jaydon has turned his journey into a powerful story of triumph. Now 20, he runs his own successful car detailing and valeting business, expertly balancing his work around his health. He admits, “I’m lucky to have a flexible job, but flare-ups can still disrupt my life.”

Jaydon is preparing for stoma surgery, a step that could greatly enhance his quality of life. Currently on the waiting list, this operation will help manage his condition better by diverting waste via a collection bag, a procedure that many with Crohn’s undergo and often see life-improving results.

But Jaydon isn’t stopping there. He’s taking on Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s Big Winter Workout challenge this January! Determined to raise awareness and funds, Jaydon plans to run 5k every day, totalling nearly six marathons—an incredible 155 miles in all. “I want people to understand the seriousness of Crohn’s and support those affected,” he shares passionately.
Jaydon’s story is a powerful reminder of resilience and the unyielding human spirit. Join him in his mission to bring light to Crohn’s disease and support a cause that’s close to his heart. Let’s cheer him on as he runs into a healthier, more promising future! 🏃♂️💪 #CrohnsAwareness #Inspiration #BigWinterWorkout
