It all started when Turner was found unresponsive at his flat on High Street. Despite heroic efforts by police and paramedics, he passed away after suffering head injuries. His death prompted police to launch a murder investigation. James Ronald Hughes, 66, has been charged with Turner’s murder and is currently navigating the court process. He appeared at Llandudno Magistrates and Mold Crown Court at the end of December, with no pleas entered yet. A key date is set for March when Hughes will enter a plea.
