🚨 DIY SOS Drama! 🚨
In a twist during a heartwarming DIY SOS project in Wales, a man from Llanberis, Gwynedd, decided to help himself to a cement mixer and two wheelbarrows! The stolen goods were taken while the beloved BBC show’s team was hard at work transforming a home near the stunning Yr Wyddfa.
Fortunately, the items have since been recovered, and the theft didn’t stop the amazing transformations from happening. Huge shoutout to the local North Wales Police for their swift action in recovering the gear! 🚔👏
David Pugh, 25, admitted to the theft when he appeared at Caernarfon Magistrates Court. He’s been handed 200 hours of unpaid work, a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement, and must wear an alcohol monitoring tag for 60 days. Plus, he’s paying £199 in costs. Sometimes crime doesn’t pay!
Despite a few hiccups, including weather challenges, the DIY SOS crew completed their mission with the help of local trades, suppliers, and amazing volunteers. Their gratitude for the community’s support can’t be overstated. 🌟❤️
