🚨 Wanted: Amazon Employee Who Stole Thousands!

A former Amazon worker in Swansea, Edvin Groza, was caught on camera stealing high-value items including designer sports watches. He’s been on the run for over eight years, believed to have skipped the UK for Hungary, dodging a 12-month prison sentence.

Back in 2016, Groza, leveraging his position at an Amazon warehouse, swiped goods worth thousands. The crafty operation involved sneaking items off shelves without scanning them and replacing boxes with empties. His scheme was busted when a loss prevention officer spotted the suspicion in CCTV footage. As a result, his locker revealed hidden stolen watches while a stash of gadgets and a hefty sum of cash were discovered at his home.
Despite pleading guilty to two counts of theft, Groza bailed and vanished before sentencing. The court now suspects he’s in Hungary, as his family reportedly returned there, too. If caught and brought back, he’ll have to serve his sentence.
In what’s described as a “planned criminal enterprise,” Groza’s actions represent a significant breach of trust with his employers. The judge expressed surprise that the seized cash was supposedly destroyed, though a confiscation order is possible if it’s proven otherwise.
The goods headed back to Amazon were destroyed, given they couldn’t be resold. Authorities still hope for justice, though the chances of Groza’s return seem slim.
