Plans are underway to transform the Coastal Schooner, a unique interpretation centre at Saundersfoot Harbour, into an indoor mini-golf spot. Built to echo the traditional schooner ships that once sailed from the harbour, the Coastal Schooner has been a nod to the area’s rich coal mining past. But with new proposals expected to receive the green light from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park later this month, a family-friendly transformation is on the horizon.
Earlier proposals for a pirate-themed rum bar at this location didn’t quite fit the family-oriented vibe of the region. But this mini-golf plan, strongly backed by the Saundersfoot Community Council, promises a fantastic indoor attraction that’s fun for everyone, rain or shine, all year round!
