✅ How to make sure you’re ready to vote? Registering is easy, free, and only takes a few minutes! Just make sure you register by Monday, 20th April 2026, to ensure you receive your ballot paper.
🔍 Key things to keep in mind:
– You must be at least 16 years old to vote.
– Only need to register if you haven’t done so before, or if you’ve changed your name, address, or nationality.
– You need your full name, postal address, date of birth, and National Insurance number (if you’re 16+).
👥 Who can register?
– UK, Irish, or qualifying Commonwealth citizens
– EU citizens living in Wales
– A qualifying foreign citizen with permission to stay in the UK
📬 Prefer to vote from home? Apply for a postal vote by Tuesday, 21st April.
