Ospreys and Cardiff fans are up in arms over the WRU’s latest move! The shocking decision to enter exclusive talks with Y11 Sports & Media for the takeover of Cardiff Rugby could spell doom for the current four-region set-up, potentially slashing it down to just three. Fans are outraged, describing it as a “disgraceful” and “despicable” decision. Ospreys Supporters Club is demanding immediate clarity from Y11, while CF10 Rugby Trust plans a member meeting to discuss this bombshell.
Amidst this turmoil, there’s a silver lining for rugby fans. Steve Tandy is set to announce his squad for the Six Nations later today. With Wales on a mission to end a disappointing run and a tough autumn behind them, could Tandy bring back some veterans, inject fresh talent, or both? Names like James Williams and Jake Ball are being whispered as potential squad members.
Meanwhile, England isn’t having the best time either, with injury woes complicating their Six Nations prep. Harlequins’ Fin Baxter is still recovering from a foot injury, leaving England’s head coach Steve Borthwick pondering his options. With prop positions in question, England might have to reshuffle before facing Wales on 7th February.
Stay tuned as the rugby drama unfolds, but it’s pretty clear fans aren’t going to let this go without a fight! Join the conversation and share your thoughts on the latest developments and squad announcements. Let’s get this all hashed out before the Six Nations kick-off! 🏉🎉
