🌊🦑 Surprise at the Shore: Bright Orange Octopus Spotted in Tenby! 🦑🌊

Strolling along the stunning North Beach in Tenby, photographer Gareth Davies found a vibrant orange octopus half-buried in the sand! His incredible discovery had beachgoers and online followers buzzing, with some even questioning if the photos were real. 📸

While enjoying the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast, Gareth couldn’t believe his eyes. “You never know what you’ll see on a seaside walk! I was thrilled to encounter this stunning octopus at low tide,” he shared.
As if putting on a show, the octopus changed colour before gracefully disappearing into the sand as the tide came in. 🐙 With its flashy camouflage and secretive nature, the curled or common octopus is a rare sight on UK shores. These clever cephalopods live in shallow waters, feeding on marine creatures like crabs, shrimp, and mussels.
Although the common octopus is seen less often, all octopuses boast amazing abilities to change colour and squeeze into tight spaces, evading predators and surprising lucky beachgoers like Gareth! 🎨✨
