🔥 **A Moment of Madness: Teen’s Shocking Aerosol Incident** 🔥

Imagine a quiet afternoon taking a turn for the worse. Joe Mitchell, a 13-year-old from Petersfield, learned a tough lesson when an experiment with an aerosol can went horribly wrong. He was simply trying to melt an air duster can he’d used to clean his PlayStation, not realising that these cans are incredibly flammable!

In a split second, flames engulfed Joe’s jumper and leaped onto the bedroom walls. His quick-thinking dad managed to rip off the burning jumper and douse the flames, but not before Joe suffered burns across his face, neck, and hands.

Rushed to the burns unit at Salisbury District Hospital, doctors treated Joe’s superficial burns—thanks to his dad’s rapid actions, his injuries didn’t go deeper. While Joe’s on the mend, and hopefully without scars, it’s a stark reminder of how dangerous aerosols can be.
Joe’s mum, Leanne, is determined to raise awareness about the perils of these canisters. “It could’ve been fatal. We’re lucky his dad was there,” she said, urging parents and kids alike to be cautious.
We’ve all had those “what was I thinking?” moments, but playing with aerosols can have real, life-threatening consequences. So, take it from Joe’s experience: never mix flames and aerosols. Safety first, always. 🙌
