Exciting times ahead for Tenby! The iconic Grade-II listed Nyth Aderyn, a stunning Victorian property perched on the cliffs, is set for some fabulous updates. Originally designed by London architect Ernest Newton in 1883, this landmark will soon boast a new gym, sauna, and study, replacing the old, worn-out structures.

The plan, which was approved by local authorities, will see a new gym on the upper terrace, a mid-terrace ‘treehouse’ study, and a stylish sauna on the lower terrace. This project promises to enhance the beauty of Nyth Aderyn, alongside preserving its place in the Tenby Conservation Area.
Both Tenby Town Council and the Tenby Civic Society have given their thumbs up, recognising that these changes will breathe new life into this historical gem. The new designs are carefully crafted to blend in seamlessly with the house’s original charm, featuring the beloved red clay tiled roofs, bay windows, and the classic tall brick chimney stacks.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of the North Cliff, these improvements will certainly add to Tenby’s allure, offering an updated yet respectful take on this well-loved heritage site. We can’t wait to see Nyth Aderyn shine brighter than ever before! 🌟🏡
