In a recent development, a man has been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault that took place at Retro nightclub on Mill Lane, Cardiff, in June 2025.
The incident reportedly occurred during a night out when a man allegedly approached a woman and inappropriately touched her without consent. Despite initial investigations drawing a blank, a renewed appeal for information last year appears to have made a breakthrough.
South Wales Police have now apprehended a 51-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault by touching. He has been released on bail as further inquiries continue. The brave victim recently came forward publicly, urging anyone with information to assist the investigation.
