Heartbreaking news from the EastEnders world. Just days after the passing of beloved actor Derek Martin, known for his iconic role as Charlie Slater, his son David Rapp has also sadly passed away. The announcement was made by the BBB Agency, where David worked, describing him as a “gentle giant with a heart as big as he was.”
Last week, the agency shared a touching tribute to Derek, acknowledging his incredible career and the support he gave his family. Derek’s family shared that he wasn’t just a dad but also a dear friend and confidant.
Details about David’s cause of death have not been publicly shared, and the family has requested privacy during this incredibly difficult time.
Our hearts go out to the Martin family and their friends. Rest in peace, Derek and David. 💔
