🚨 **Vandalism Shocks Carway Community** 🚨
Late night chaos at Carway Football and Cricket Club! 🌑 In the early hours, two cars wreaked havoc on the club’s pitch, pulling wheelies and handbrake turns, causing major damage. Chairman Ray Stockwell is calling the perpetrators “idiots” for their reckless behaviour.
The incident occurred around 3am on Thursday 15th January. It wasn’t just a quick spin; the ordeal stretched over 40 minutes! 📹 Luckily, CCTV captured the whole thing, and those responsible even stopped to survey their damage and went back for more! One car got stuck, requiring a push to get free.
The club isn’t just a staple for local teams – with their football and cricket teams disbanded, the pitch is a lifeline for nearby villages looking to play when their own fields are unavailable.
Dyfed-Powys Police are on the case, urging anyone with information to help track down these young culprits. 🌐👀 If you know anything, contact the police quoting reference 26*42566.
The community’s in shock, but the hope is whoever’s responsible can be identified before they strike again. Let’s help protect our local sports facilities! 🏆⚽
