Exciting news for drivers in Rhondda Cynon Taf! After listening to feedback, the council is considering bumping up the speed limit from 20mph to 30mph on 22 roads. This comes after a massive 2024 review in response to a petition signed by nearly 500,000 people.
Four roads, however, will stick to the 20mph limit. These roads are Berw Road in Pontypridd, Cardiff Road to Main Road in Llantrisant, Brynteg Lane in Beddau, and the A4058 Ystrad Road, Pentre, due to strong local representation.
