Flooding and travel disruption are high on the cards. Roads may turn into rivers, and some might just be impassable, so plan your journeys carefully. 🚗💦
The storm, courtesy of Storm Ingrid (named by our Portuguese friends at IPMA), is expected to unleash an additional 20-40mm of rain with a few unlucky spots getting up to 50mm. Couple that with gusty winds reaching over 50mph in some coastal spots, and it’s a recipe for staying indoors! 🌬️
Let’s batten down the hatches, folks, and keep an eye on power supplies too, as some interruptions could occur.
Stay safe, keep dry, and let’s hope for sunnier days soon! 🌦️
