The inquest highlighted how the combination of antidepressants, melatonin, and other medications, combined with her undiagnosed heart condition, likely led to her tragic passing. Coroner Lydia Brown noted the absence of any recreational drug use and the inefficiency of medical intervention at the critical moment.

Rachel’s love for writing and history was undeniable, and she was finally realising her dream of crafting a novel. Her sister Roxanne expressed her hope to complete Rachel’s unfinished book, ensuring her memory lives on through her work. Plans are also underway to honour Rachel’s love for theatre by supporting the Lakeshore Players Theatre in Minnesota, as well as establishing a memorial at Golders Green Crematorium in London.
