The much-loved Bethlehem Chapel near Haverfordwest is set for a makeover! 🏗️ Pembrokeshire planners have just given the green light for an extension, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. 🎉
For years, this historic chapel has been at the heart of our village, bringing people together through a myriad of activities. From toddler groups to craft sessions, support groups and community lunches, there’s always something happening! But with growing numbers, space has been a real challenge.
Rev. Jenny Gough and her team have been working hard, using a temporary portacabin to keep up with the increasing demand. The new extension aims to replace this temporary solution, creating a welcoming, accessible environment that can host even more events. 🌟
Why is this so important? Well, aside from accommodating more people, the upgrade will ensure the chapel meets modern standards for accessibility, health, and safety—making it a more inclusive space for everyone in the community. 👐
The vision is clear: to offer a first-class facility that enhances community life and brings a positive boost to the area. Imagine more space for holiday clubs, youth groups, social gatherings, and much more—all under one roof! 🏠
