The victim, who was previously sexually assaulted by Davies, discovered to her horror that he was behind years of sinister, intimidating messages.
Disguised as a woman online, Davies bombarded the victim with disturbing threats—promising acts of violence and exploitation. The truth came out when Davies shockingly revealed himself as the perpetrator behind the vile messages. Acting quickly, police apprehended him while he was logged into the fake social media account he used for his harassment.
The emotional distress this reign of terror caused the victim is immeasurable. In her words, “He stalked me for six years. Only in 2025 did I realise it was Michael all along. It caused my world to crash down.”
PC Rees described Davies’ actions as a deliberate campaign of intimidation that left the victim living in fear. “No one should have to endure that kind of harassment,” he stated. The court agreed, handing down a sentence that includes an extended sentence of eight years and four months, alongside an indefinite restraining order and Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
