By Monday, she had her first blood transfusion. Childhood cancer is devastatingly rare, but it sometimes creeps in, affecting about 100 children annually in the UK. Clara faced nearly six months in hospital, but she didn’t let it break her spirit. She shared stories of dancing with nurses, Halloween fun, and even hallway dance parties!
Despite tough times and witnessing her friends not making it, Clara’s resilience carried her through. After beating cancer, she’s now an inspiring children’s nurse, using her experience to brighten young patients’ lives.
