Anthony Joshua Opens Up About Heartbreaking Car Crash 🌟💔

British boxing champ Anthony Joshua recently broke down in an emotional video message as he shared his heartbreak over losing two of his closest friends in a tragic car crash. Last month, Joshua was involved in an accident near Lagos, Nigeria. He miraculously escaped with minor injuries, but sadly, the crash claimed the lives of his personal trainer, Latif “Latz” Ayodele, and his strength and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami. Both men were just 36.

In a heartfelt tribute titled “My Brothers Keeper for Life,” Joshua speaks about the deep bond he shared with Latz and Ghami, who were essential to his career and life. “We lost people that we dearly care about,” he said, unable to hold back tears. The trio had travelled to Nigeria to visit family, brimming with plans for ending 2025 on a high note.

Reflecting on the tragic moment and its impact, Joshua said, “One day my time will come, and I’m not scared… It’s actually comforting knowing that I’ve got two brothers on the other side.”
Despite the loss, Joshua made it clear that he’s not putting down his boxing gloves anytime soon. He sees continuing in the sport as a tribute to his friends’ memory, saying, “The mission must go on.”
Joshua also expressed gratitude to fans worldwide for their love and support during this tough time. Shortly after the accident, Joshua was in hospital recuperating. Back in London, he attended both friends’ funerals and spent time with their families, ensuring their contribution to his life is celebrated and remembered.
This tragedy has been a shattering blow to the boxing world, marking a poignant chapter in Joshua’s life, full of introspection and the realisation of life’s fragility.
Rest in peace, Latz and Sina. Your legacy lives on in the heart of a champion. 🕊️💙
