🎾🔥 Love Match or Just Mates? 👀
Carlos Alcaraz, the Spanish tennis sensation, has made waves down under by reaching his first Australian Open final! But it’s not just his on-court prowess that’s catching attention. Rumours were buzzing when South Korean DJ Peggy Gou was spotted cheering him on from his player box. Could there be more than just music between these two?
At 22, Alcaraz is on the brink of history, ready to face Novak Djokovic and potentially become the youngest male player to achieve a career Grand Slam. While his court matches have been electrifying, it’s the match with Gou that’s got everyone talking.
The globally known DJ, a massive tennis fan, attended Alcaraz’s quarter-final against Alex de Minaur and sparked speculation with her presence. However, Alcaraz was quick to address the whispers, firmly stating Gou is a “fantastic friend” and a valued supporter. He credited her presence for the extra motivation to reach the final, even jokingly adding he had to win if he wanted to catch her live performance in Melbourne.
Gou’s journey to sparking these romance rumours? It all began in Korea, thanks to a mutual friend and a request from her tennis-loving parents. “We’re just good friends,” Gou clarified, all smiles about their platonic bond.
And with her DJ decks set to fire up Melbourne Park before the final, Gou is sure to lend some musical magic to Alcaraz’s big day. Alcaraz himself is all geared up, confident and ready for the epic showdown with Djokovic, one of the titans of the game.
As the finale heats up, will Carlos Alcaraz make tennis history? And who knows, maybe we’ll get a cheeky nod or smile exchanged with Peggy during the match. Keep an eye out for any tender tunes she might dedicate courtside! 🎶❤️
