🚨 Shocking Incident: Child Attacked by XL Bully in Llandudno Junction 🚨

In a terrifying episode, a child was viciously attacked by an XL Bully dog, leading to severe injuries. The child was bitten on the arm four times, necessitating surgery. Witnesses reported that owner Scott Gallagher did nothing to intervene when the dog attacked, though Katie Taylor managed to pull the animal off.

The court took decisive action. Gallagher, aged 59, was sentenced to 22 months for owning a dangerously out of control dog, plus six months for child cruelty. Taylor, 40, received an 18-month sentence for the same dog-related offence, but her sentence is suspended for two years. Taylor will also participate in a mental health treatment programme and rehabilitation activities.
In addition, both Gallagher and Taylor are banned from owning dogs for 15 years. Tragically, the XL Bully Tyson, along with a Pit Bull Terrier named Caesar owned by the defendants, were ordered to be destroyed.
This heart-wrenching incident reminds us of the responsibilities that come with owning powerful breeds. The child’s bravery is commendable, and we hope for their swift recovery. 🙏
