Crews from Roath, Cardiff Central, and Maindee fire stations sprang into action, working tirelessly to tackle the inferno. By using jets, small tools, and respirators, they managed to extinguish the fire shortly after 11pm. 🎇

Rover Way was temporarily closed by South Wales Police to ensure the safety of everyone nearby and was reopened just before 1am. Thankfully, the prompt and brave efforts of our fire service heroes brought the situation under control. 👏

Interestingly, this is not the first time the fire service has been called to Rover Way. A similar incident happened just at the end of January involving fly-tipped waste. It seems this hotspot needs some extra attention to prevent future flare-ups! 🗑️🔥
