Despite the 6-0 6-2 final defeat, Emma’s incredible run in Romania, highlighted by strong victories over Greet Minnen and Kaja Juvan, moved her from No. 30 to No. 25—a position she hasn’t reached since August 2022.

Raducanu faced some struggles on court, noting, “It was really tough. Sorana played a great match. I’ve been dealing with some health issues…I just need to rest.” But she’s staying positive and sees her game improving. “I’ve made progress and been doing the right work. There’s still a lot to improve, but it’s rewarding to see the results,” Emma adds.

Next up? The Qatar Open in Doha, where she faces Camila Osorio. A first-round exit last year means she has no points to defend, giving her a golden chance to climb even higher in the rankings.

We’re all rooting for you, Emma! Keep smashing it on the court! 💪🎾
