A quiet afternoon took a dramatic turn in the Welsh town of Undy when police were alerted to a suspected grenade found at a house on Rowan Close.
Gwent Police quickly responded to the scene, and as a precaution, called in the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) experts. Thankfully, the EOD team later confirmed the grenade was NOT live! 🎉
The potentially dangerous device will be safely disposed of, putting residents’ minds at ease. The incident began with a call to the police around 1.50 pm on Monday and ended with the all-clear, ensuring everyone remained safe.
