🌊 Ever wondered why the Mumbles lifeboat hasn’t been in its usual spot? Fear not, it’s just moored at Swansea Marina, about four miles away, for a bit of TLC! 🚤💨

The recent stormy weather and strong winds have prompted the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) to temporarily relocate their all-weather lifeboat from its regular mooring spot by Mumbles Pier. Divers are busy inspecting the mooring for any damage caused by the rough seas. Once given the all-clear, our trusty lifeboat will be back home where it belongs. 🌪️🔍

The RNLI crew and their Tamar class lifeboat, Roy Barker IV, are still on call, ready to respond to emergencies. They’ll just be doing it from the temporary marina base for now. 🛥️⏳
RNLI volunteers are responding as usual, meeting first at the Mumbles inshore lifeboat station before heading to the marina. Thanks to their dedication, over 200 lives have been impacted in the last couple of years alone, with several lives saved. ❤️⛑️
Meanwhile, let’s tip our hats to the Mumbles lifeboat shop, which is popping up again at All Saints Church! It reopens on 14th February, from 11am to 2pm. Take a peek and support a great cause. 🏪⛪
The ongoing negotiations for a permanent home for the lifeboat and visitor centre are still under wraps, but fingers crossed for some good news soon! 🤞🌊
Let’s show some love for the brave RNLI crew and their vital work. You rock, Mumbles! 🚤👌
