🌧️⛈️ Heads Up, Folks! Nearly 100 areas in the UK are bracing for flooding as we’ve hit record-breaking rainfall levels. The Met Office warns there’s no dry spell in sight for at least a week. 🌧️⛈️

Flooding is expected across 99 areas, especially in the south of England, the southern Welsh border, and the East Midlands. Another 170 areas might face flooding too. So far, the Environment Agency (EA) estimates 300 properties have been affected. 💦🏘️

Cornwall and County Down reported the wettest January on record, and some places like Devon and Cornwall have been drenched every day of the year so far! Parts of Scotland are also on alert with yellow rain warnings in effect. 🌧️🚨
Andrew Hitchings from the EA urges everyone to stay vigilant. With more rain on its way, areas like Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset Levels, and Worcestershire are on high alert. However, 16,000 homes have been protected thanks to temporary barriers and other measures. 🏠🌊
Senior meteorologist Simon Partridge confirmed that the wet and windy weather isn’t going anywhere soon. So, keep those raincoats handy, and stay safe! 🌧️🌬️
Let’s all keep an eye out and support our communities during this soggy season. 💪💦 #UKWeather #FloodAlert #StaySafe
