🗑️ **Rubbish Drama Outside Greggs!**
Residents in Ferndale, Rhondda were surprised earlier this week by a mountain of rubbish stacking up on High Street. Right outside Greggs, over two dozen red bags took over parts of the pavement, creating an eyesore some called “disgusting.”
Apparently, a private waste company had not collected the rubbish for several days, with the heap starting to build up from last Thursday. Some crews reported issues stopping on High Street to pick up the bags, adding to the pile-up woes.
The good news is, after a bit of back and forth, both Greggs and Biffa, the waste management company, confirmed that all the rubbish has now been cleared. A spokesperson for Greggs reassured, “The rubbish outside our Ferndale store has now been fully collected,” and Biffa echoed the sentiment: “All bags have now been taken away by our crew.”
