While there were nine objections about potential pedestrian safety and visual impacts, the council is keen to test this venture to see if it fits well in the peaceful rural setting.
For now, it’s a two-year green light with some conditions: opening times will start after 8.30 am, and participant numbers will be limited to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone. This trial period will help determine if the centre can become a permanent fixture that neighbours can embrace. 🤞
