🚀 Wrexham’s Road to Premier League: A Mammoth Task Ahead! 🚀

Wrexham AFC is on an incredible journey, reaching for the stars! After a thrilling series of three consecutive promotions, the team now finds itself in the Championship play-off race, with the Premier League in its sights. But with this meteoric rise comes major challenges.

Shaun Harvey, Wrexham’s director, recently shared insights on the massive changes required should the club reach the Premier League. Their beloved Racecourse Ground, currently holding 10,500 fans, would need significant upgrades to meet top-flight standards. A new 7,750 capacity Kop Stand is on the horizon, but more investment will be vital, both in the stadium and the squad.

Harvey, speaking on the Fearless in Devotion podcast, emphasised, “You can never get promoted too early. We’ve proven over the last three seasons that with each promotion, we’ve thrived.” Exciting times indeed, but there’s a lot of work to be done both on and off the pitch to compete at that level.
Reflecting on the club’s evolution, Harvey touched on the journey since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s takeover five years ago. Once a non-league club, now a global sensation thanks to the ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary! The duo have become passionate fans, committed to the club and its storied success. “The price of failure now is just letting anybody down,” Harvey admitted, highlighting the swift pace of their achievements.
From North Wales to worldwide fame, Wrexham is a club that’s captured hearts far and wide. Are you excited about Wrexham’s potential Premier League future? Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments! ⚽🔴🐉
