The Young Ospreys have soared to new heights, clinching the U18s Regional Age Grade Championship for the second year running with a nail-biting 19-17 win over Cardiff U18s. The match at Cardiff Arms Park was a thrilling spectacle with both teams fighting tooth and nail until the very end.
Full-back Dylan Quinn, wing Alfie Selby, and inside centre Zac Mizen showed their class by crossing the line for the Ospreys. Cai Davies kept the scoreboard ticking with his spot-on kicks, making a crucial difference in this close encounter. Cardiff didn’t go down without a fight, with Ioan Leyshon, Harvey Bryant, and Evan NG scoring tries, keeping the game intensely competitive.
A special shout-out to Mason James, son of Wales scrum coach Paul James, who stood strong at loosehead prop, and to Nick Jones, son of legendary Wales and Lions scrum-half Rob Jones, who had a stellar game at number nine. The legacy of rugby greatness runs deep in these families!
