In 2024, Jake was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer, but his resilience and positivity inspired everyone around him. Despite the challenges he faced, Jake never ceased to brighten the days of his teammates and coaches. He stood as a beacon of hope, famously known as a “pure gentleman” and “the nicest kid”.

Jake’s journey through rugby started at a young age, growing from the minis, juniors, and youth teams, all the way to the senior level with Llantrisant RFC. His dedication and passion for the sport were unmatched, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. 💪

The club honoured Jake with a touching message: “He brought energy, commitment, and joy to every game and training session.” Whether it was his loyalty, laughter, or the genuine care he showed, Jake left a lasting impact that extended far beyond the rugby field.
