Got plans to hit the road this week? You might want to double-check your route. There are several road closures set across Wales, and it could affect your journey. The M4, along with other major A-roads, is undergoing essential roadworks, so expect some delays and diversions.
Here’s the scoop:
🛣️ **M4 Closures**
– Expect closures eastbound around junctions 25A (Grove Park) through to Caerleon, and in sections between Pyle (37) to Earlswood (42) for maintenance. Roadworks from 8pm to 6am will be in effect on certain nights to keep disruptions moderate.
🛣️ **A470 & A483 Closures**
– The A470 will face overnight closures from Pontypridd to Abercynon and from Caersws to Talerddig for maintenance between 7pm and 6am until 21st February.
– On the A483, expect onslip closures around Coedpoeth and Plas Coch, causing severe disruptions from 7pm until 6am.
🚦 **Other Routes**
– The A487 in Aberystwyth will also be closed in both directions for improvement work, with temporary traffic lights during daytime hours lasting until June.
