Exciting news for Greenhill Special School in Cardiff! 🎉 The school is set to expand with two new Portakabin classrooms, providing urgently needed space for an additional 16 students. This move comes with the hiring of six extra teaching staff to ensure top-quality education.
Why Portakabins? They’re a flexible, sustainable solution, offering quick installation with minimal disruption—and they’re a perfect fit with the existing school buildings. This temporary setup also comes with a kitchen and toilets, making it fully functional for students and staff alike. 🌱
The classrooms are slated to be placed on overgrown land next to the school, which means no current parking will be affected. Although a few small trees will be removed, the Portakabins are designed to be durable, low-maintenance, and eco-friendly.
Greenhill’s mission is to help students thrive and develop vital skills, readying them for positive societal contributions. This expansion marks a significant step towards achieving that vision by providing a caring and supportive environment with more room for growth. 💪
Stay tuned for more updates as Greenhill enhances its facilities to better serve its community! 📚✨
