🌨️❄️ Snow Alert for Wales! ❄️🌨️

Heads up, Wales! A yellow weather warning is in effect from Wednesday afternoon as the Met Office predicts snowfall across much of the country. The wintry weather is expected to settle on higher ground, particularly impacting areas above 150-200 metres—think 2-5cm blankets of snow, with a chance of up to 15cm in some parts of mid and southeast Wales!
The affected regions include Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Carmarthenshire, Conwy, and many more. Expect some lighter sprinklings at lower elevations too, especially come late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. 🌬️

Brace yourselves for strong easterly winds that might make things a tad more challenging on the roads. It’s shaping up to be a proper mixed weather scenario as rain and snow make their way here from the Atlantic, feeding into the chilly air already present.
Want to stay ahead of the snow? Keep an eye on those weather maps to know exactly when and where it’s due. From early Wednesday right through to 6am Thursday, it’s a snow watch scenario!

Stay safe, wrap up warm, and keep those fingers crossed for a snow day! ☃️ Keep us posted on your local snow sightings, and let’s navigate this wintry spell together.
