Exciting news for those who love a countryside escape! Plans are underway for a new collection of “bespoke 5* luxury holiday lodges” set to grace the beautiful Welsh countryside. These new lodges are described as “unlike anything else in the area,” promising a unique experience for visitors. Located at the already popular Pant Wilkin Stables, an established tourism and leisure site, the project aims to add 20 more lodges to the existing six, all blending seamlessly into the landscape.
Crafted from timber, these “low single-storey” lodges offer a chic twist on the conventional holiday stay. Each will include a parking space and an electric vehicle charging point, catering to modern eco-friendly needs. Aiming to attract explorers and culture enthusiasts, these lodges are perfect for visiting local attractions such as the medieval town of Cowbridge, its stunning castles, or the annual food festival.
With an impressive 81% occupancy rate last year, these lodges are a testament to the growing demand for unique countryside retreats. The proposed site is well-hidden, nestled in a valley surrounded by mature woodland, ensuring peace, privacy, and harmony with nature. Additional tree planting is planned to maintain the secluded charm.
The lodges promise to boost the local economy by creating jobs and attracting visitors, while also being environmentally sustainable and meeting policy requirements. With a decision expected by 31 March 2026, this project is set to become a must-visit spot for countryside lovers. Stay tuned for updates! 🏞️✨
