🚨 Safety Alert for Travellers! 🚨
If you’re a jet-setter or gearing up for your next big getaway, this one’s for you. The UK Government has flagged a popular travel gadget that could pose a serious fire risk.
The culprit? A universal travel adapter by Decqle, model number DQZ9. It’s already on a lot of packing lists, but here’s the catch—it doesn’t meet British safety standards. The plug has dimensional issues and an undersized fuse, which could lead to overheating or explosions. Yikes!
What you need to know:
– **Model & Numbers**: Decqle Universal Travel Adapter (Model: DQZ9). Look out for numbers like B0D95K3NV3, 1031-YSR3013, and 10433514U000010.
– **Risk**: Fire hazard due to non-compliance with BS 1363.
– **Action**: If you own this adapter, it’s time to get rid of it. The item has been rejected at the UK border to prevent further sales.
Stay safe and double-check your travel gear. Your next holiday deserves fuss-free fun, not unexpected sparks! 🔥✈️
