Excitement is building as Wales gets ready to face Scotland at the Principality Stadium this weekend for the Six Nations showdown! 🏉
Wales coach Steve Tandy has shaken things up, making bold changes after their recent defeat to France. Notably, four players are out of the matchday squad, including experienced lock Adam Beard. Ready to step up, Ben Carter is set for his Six Nations debut in the second row. On the wing, Gabriel Hamer-Webb is gearing up for his international debut, promising some fresh energy!
Fly-half Sam Costelow will replace Dan Edwards in this crucial Cardiff clash, marking Costelow’s 20th cap yet the first since last summer’s game against Japan.
Scotland isn’t holding back either. Coach Gregor Townsend has made five changes following their win against England, despite facing some injury setbacks. But fear not, Scots fans, because two British and Irish Lions are back! Duhan van der Merwe will reclaim his spot on the wing, and Blair Kinghorn returns at full-back.
With Max Williamson stepping into the second row, Gregor Brown is set to shift into the back row, making room for Matt Fagerson at number eight – completing Scotland’s reworked forward pack. Can they clinch a fourth consecutive win over Wales?
The stage is set for an epic clash! Who are you cheering for? Let us know in the comments! 🔥💪
