🌟 Tragic Incident in Smethwick 🌟
An 18-year-old has tragically lost his life after a stabbing outside a mosque on Oldbury Road in Smethwick, Birmingham. The heartbreaking incident unfolded just before 9pm last Friday night. Two others, aged 19 and 20, were also injured and rushed to hospital, but thankfully, their injuries aren’t considered life-threatening.
Despite the attack occurring during Ramadan, authorities have clarified there’s no current evidence indicating a racial or religious motive. Our thoughts are with the families and friends affected by this senseless act of violence. 💔
Detectives are diving deep into the investigation, examining CCTV footage, conducting forensic searches, and knocking on doors to piece together what happened. Police are urgently asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who might have footage, to step forward and help bring those responsible to justice.
