π Big Shake-up in World Rugby Rankings! π¨

The latest Six Nations weekend has turned the world rugby rankings on their head! Wales has slipped to 12th following a nail-biting 23-26 defeat against Scotland in Cardiff. Despite leading 17-5 at halftime with brilliant tries from Rhys Carre and Josh Adams, a late Scottish surge turned the tables. It’s another disappointment for Wales as their tough run in the tournament continues.

England wasn’t spared either, falling from fourth to fifth in the rankings after a crushing 42-21 loss to Ireland at the Allianz Stadium. This defeat marks their heaviest ever home deficit to Ireland. Meanwhile, the Irish squad is soaring, jumping up to third in the world!
France showed their strength with a resounding 33-8 win over Italy, keeping their Grand Slam dreams alive. Yet, they too slipped in the rankings, dropping to fourth despite being unbeaten so far.
Scotland, however, are celebrating a rise, climbing from ninth to seventh in the world. This leap pushed both Australia and Fiji down the pecking order. And interestingly, Portugal is making waves, now sitting at 17th in the world after impressive performances in the Rugby Europe Menβs Championship.
Not to be overlooked, Switzerland has secured their spot at 27th, just shy of their all-time best ranking, after a victory against the Netherlands.
What a weekend for rugby fans around the globe! Keep cheering for your side as the battle for world rugby supremacy heats up! ππ What do you make of these changes in the rankings? Let us know in the comments! β¬οΈ
